Two creeks joining in the Columbia Gorge.
Taken today, the Big Leaf Maples are already shedding leaves and I welcomed the color in the Green Gorge.

Hi Dan

WOW..! you are getting better and better with these water falls.. Love this comp, and while it has the Dan Kearl OOMP added to colour and vibrancy, (more so than I would) I like it. Great shutter speed, great setting, well done.

This is one of the best waterfall shots I've seen. Awesome waterfall, stunning colors and great composition. I would put this up my wall. The D800 should allow a really huge print.

Thanks Markus, although I would not classify these as waterfalls.
They are the fast flowing creeks Between waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge.
The terrain is very steep with a lot of Falls and cliffs, this is an average grade creek bed, steep by most standards, but I
was hiking on a trail adjacent to the creeks on the way to a "real" Fall, which I may post later.
Actually, while this creek is lovely, it is just one of hundreds of similar creeks that flow off the steep walls into
the Columbia River.

Hi Dan, very well composed and captured. I have always loved how lush the images from this gorge are...someday I will have to make my way over there. So far...this is my fave of your Columbia Gorge images :S3:

This. Rocks.
Great vibrance, nice flow in the comp and the tonal detail/oomph is just right.
Take a bow
