Another one of my Dipper images taken the otherday,lighting was a bit overcast,cannon 500mm L IS F4,EXT 700MM,7D,TRIPOD,CROP,SHARRPENED,LIGHTENED,ISO800,1/640S,F5.6.Thanks for looking.

lovely pose & setting! like the comp very much. feel it needs a bit of sharpening.

I like the low angle, the birds position and the overall composition.
The head does not look as sharp as the birds chest to me so agree more sharpening may improve it.

A very pleasing crop and I love the DOF and detail on the water. Have you tried to bring up a little more detail in the bird's underside?

Lovely image and setting. Bird appears to need a little more sharpening. Love that little waterfall with him perched on it!

This is my favorite of your dipper series so far. The "perch" is what makes it for me and I dig the view of the toes undet the running water. Super comp and low angle. Had the subject swung its body more parallel to the sensor that would have been killer good! I agree with sharpness, surely another round to the face wold work well for web posting.
