That's a sweet photo all around Frank. Lovely background, great head angle, interesting tail-up pose and superb detail and exposure. Only suggestion is that maybe you could go tighter, mostly from bottom and left.

Hi Frank. This has super detail here and I like your comp but I might prefer taking some more of the FG out. The BG is super smooth and clean. Love the profile of the bird

A re-crop , as suggested, would make this much stronger. Wonderful IQ.

Wonderful shot. Beautiful soft light and great head turn. I like that species.
Did you use a blind? Föhr might be worth a trip in the future for me.

What a perky-looking bird! I love the raised tail, pose and green BG. Which the rocks in the FG were less prominent.

Great pose, IQ on the subject, BG. The recrop looks better, but still too bad you had to contend with the large oof fg element.
