On a crisp winter morning, Tundra Swans departed Fairlee Creek, on Maryland's Eastern shore. Proceeding down the creek in a westerly direction, they climbed above trees lining the creek, turned first to the north, and then to the east, when this image was captured.

This had to be tough to get! Congrats! Great that the bill of Swan #3 is "showcased" against the leading swan's wing. Great wing positions and just enough space for a flying three-some!

You lucked out with this formation, Norm. You lucked out with the rear bird's head falling on the wing! Pale blue sky works well!
