These are the only species of Parrots found in India, the rest being parakeets. They are very tiny and measure about 14cms.
Made this in the Nilgiri mountains in the Western Ghats, South India.
Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500.

Hi Girish, great IQ, and I like this lots. The light is nice and soft, and just love that pose. The parrot is sharp, and I do like the mixture of all the greens in the image. Killer BG, and if anything, I would remove the single flower bud ULC.
