This was taken on Monday while I was waiting for the Kingfisher I posted yesterday. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Sweet flight shot Jim - super sharp with excellent techs on the whites and nice eye contact

Ooh very dreamy, love the luminescence under the closer wing.

being super duper critical, maybe just covering that tiny black spot (missing feather) on his neck right at the top front of his neck, it forms a tiny black horizontal line.

know its natural but being his skin and darker than surrounding area it stands out to me, but that's oober critical, had to look for something wrong...lol

Thanks Greg and Linz. I know it is a rather ordinary image but it was good practice for flight shots.

Hi Jim, its always great to get a grab shot of another subject whilst shooting your main subject, and well captured as well. Flying angle looks good, well exposed in the overcast conditions.

That eye is really sharp. Always good to practice your hand held flight skills, even when the subject is rather ordinary. I like the far wing position, but the near wing could be a little better.

I'm wishing that this side of the egret was better lit, but the image is very nicely detailed, well composed, and exposed best you could with the situation at hand.
