Hey Rick. Glad to see you posting here.
I assume this was captured with a remote trigger/flash setup?
Could you please include your camera settings and other info like how this was shot - so folks could base their critiques on that?
Will hold off on mine until others chime in too :w3

Camera was set to manual. Four flashes on two light stands. The Shutterbeam is an IR beam and sound trigger with the beam positioned vertically in front of the Agave flowers at the location the bat was photographed. Hope that helps.

Doh - my bad...the text is white.
Will quickly correct it. I am using BPN Light template and white text just dissolves...:e3

Rick - interesting to see this was shot on film.
I'm surprised that the head doesn't seem sharp given the 4-flash setup at f16 and 1/200? Could it still be motion blur? Where was the pre-focus set (on the flower I presume)?
