Howdy,
Long time reader of the forums, first time poster.
Been a Canon shooter since 2007. I say a Canon Shooter, but certainly not a Canon Snob, heck I've evern been known to welcome those poor lost Nikon souls into my home for a cup of tea ;) Favourite areas of photography are wildlife, landscape and sports. When I'm not shooting fast moving wildlife I seem to be moving fast moving Premiership Footballers. To be honest as subjects I think I prefer the birds :) I try as much as possible to avoid saying yes to what seems a long list of friends who would like me to shoot their wedding / baby / dog.
Weapons of choice are the Canon 1DX (oh man, even almost a year in and I still get goosebumps with the IOS / AF performance) and the Canon 1D MK IV. Started with a 350D and then onto a 7D. Favourite birds to shoot include the Kingfisher and the Northern Gannet.
Favourite bird related shot to date - White Tailed Sea Eagle on the Island of Mull (which by the way happens to be my favourite place on earth). I've included this below.
