One of several beautiful rosella species in Australia. This one occurs in the south-east. Thanks for looking, Greg.

Thanks Satish - I would have thought the bird is pretty sharp!

Hi Greg, I love the vibrancy and punch of this beautiful bird. The setting also helps to give prominence to the subject. Nice sharpness/clarity too.

Just a thought, but adding some mid tone overall, going for a 16 x 9 crop and if agreeable, cloning out the yellow the yellow flowers on the LHS, so the 'environment' is consistent, may perhaps be another option?

Very nice, TFS.

A pano of this image? mmmm may be, but for me it works as is. Very nice vivid colours, light and sharpness for my eyes. A bit funny to find this bird on the ground since all our parakeets and parrots are always hight in the tree branches, was this bird baited with seeds or some sort of food?

Hi Greg, excellent low angle, and those colours are really striking - they pop so well against the grassy BG. If anything, I would take at least half off the bottom.

Very nice photo of an awesome bird. I like the low angle view and the bright colors. Another vote for some crop from the bottom just above the signature.

I agree cropping some off the bottom would work, but the image seems sharp enough to me, too. Great colours, BG, parallel pose. I like the yellow flowers at left.

Thanks for the feedback guys - here is a pano crop which works OK I think.
Juan Carlos, the bird is not baited - as with most of our parrot species here in Australia, they feed primarily on the ground, eating grass seeds, weed flowers etc,
Cheers, Greg
