Taken a couple of weeks back, one of my favourite subjects for macro work, liked this, because of the reflections in the eye,of dew droplets on the thorax.cannon 100mm IS L F2.8,tripod,mirror lock up,remote shutter release,F13,0.60S,ISO200,small crop for web, sharrpened for web.

Dew droplets really add to this great image. Looks like a small subject that would be difficult to capture...

The fly is excellent but the flower (clover?) looks a little busy, I think it is competing for attention, I know it can be a little frustrating at times when you get comments like that as we cannot always get them to perch where we want them to.

Hi Christopher. Another very cool fly image! Very good sharpness and all the tiny dew drops add to the image. The low shooting angle and clean background are also pluses. You might consider cropping a little from the top and left - a minor point - and subjective. Very nicely done!
