Fascinating
A bare throated Tiger Heron stands in full view but you have to look twice!
Taken when I had to get out of the boat on Costa Rica;s Tortuguero River as the water was to shallow to pass through with people on board!

Hi Richard,
They certainly do blend in to the environment. Good HA.
I would reduce the contrast and reduce the magenta in color balance.
I would do some NR in the RUC as well.
I wish the tangle of vegetation in the LLC was not so prominent,

Just for fun took out LLC which is less than ideal (Content aware)
NR to urc as suggested and lowered magenta reset b&w points, surprised recast as I had done thatbefore

I cant see any bird ?....lol......despite the large oof area it is a great bit of educational photography. That's quite a bit of clone work on the re post, may be worthwhile completing it

it's a cool bird but it's quite lost in the habitat/nest-which shows the natural camo but hard for viewers to connect with the bird

I common bird but with very nice patterns to pass by! I like the idea of cloning the offending vegetation on LLC but clone work seems too obvious to me. I would warm the image a tad if it was mine.
