Excellent pose, perch & BG. Nice light & sharpness. I would suggest a tighter version with less from top & right. TFS

Fabulous image ,Tim.Excellent pose,great exposure,beautiful colors,nice details,perch,superb BG,perch and of course composition.
Would crop a silver line on RHD. Love the frame.

Love the pose and great details. I too would crop tighter from top and also below just above the very short twig or just remove it .

Hi Tim, these poses amaze me, as they hold onto two separate pieces of the perch - great exercise to practise gym work. Well exposed, sharp, and he stands out nicely against the BG. Comp wise, I would come in from the right, and remove the vertical twig LRC.

Sweeet! The perch is a 10, and the light quality is right up there with it. Really enjoy the pose of the chipper and the way it's grasping the perch with spread legs. Adults of this species elude me still, so of course I'm jealous of this lovely capture.
