Hey Leigh. In order for us to build a proper critique we would need to see your EXIF settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) and perhaps any additional info on how you photographed and processed the shot (like Don said).

Looking forward to that.

Colours and overall exposure balance look good at this stage.

Hello Leigh. I see you have used a super wide, not a stitch of two images. As I said in a previous post I like sunsets and this has lots of appeal for me. I especially like the wide expanse of grassy plains and the pastel colours close to the horizon. I am not so keen on the overhead clouds, firstly they have a bit too much of a blue rinse for me and I would like to see less of them anyway so a crop from the top (and make it more of a pano) would help in my opinion. I think this would focus more attention to the 'wide expanse' which is the appeal for me in this shot. Finally, not sure if you used a tripod or not, but assuming you did I would always shoot landscapes on a tripod at ISO 100 to reduce noise as much as possible, and the posted image is small (only 800 pixels wide) where as you are currently allowed 1200 x 800. Hi Leigh - colors look fine and you have nice detail. If you were using a tripod and could have stopped down even more, you could have created more of a sunburst. If it were mine, I would consider moving the sun more off center.

Yes, I'm not sure what my thinking was having the ISO set to 400 when using a tripod.

Hi Leigh, colors look good to me as well. Rachel makes a good point of positioning the sun off center. I would even consider a little less foreground and more of that lovely sky.

A dramatic image. For me, the sun being centered is justified by the symmetry of the cloud above it, but a different composition with it off-center could also have been successful.

The land may be irregular (hard to tell at this size), but my brain sees it as the horizon not being level.
