Dan this is another great setting! The orange leaves and fading line of green trees are pleasing foreground and middle elements. To me, I get the sense of getting colder as I work my way from the orange/yellowish foreground to the cold white chilly mountains.

I know it was an overcast image but thought it might benefit from a little brightening, so I took it into PS and did a slight levels and curves adjustment. WDYT?

James, thanks.
Interesting crop Option, I will look at.
I actually did a brighter version like yours and almost went with it.
I probably should have.

Hi Dan

Agree with this being a great setting...! I like the layers of colour you have here and it does make me feel cold... I prefer the width of the OP but would consider cropping from the bottom to reduce the amount of orange foliage. I my mind this balances the colours better. I do prefer James's sky however.. Is the orange tinge in the centre tree tops real or a processing hickup??

I didn't crop the image. It is just sitting further left than the original because it is inserted into the post instead of being attached.

Hi Dan, another lovely setting you have captured here. I am okay with the foliage in the foreground. Have you thought of running Nik's Detail Extractor on the clouds and mountain peaks...I think it may give it a nice finishing touch if applied with a light hand.

A very nice moody scene, with the light hitting the RHS peak helping a lot.
I agree it needs to be lighter, especially the trees and midground. Repost looks good.
I would still do some adjustments to the peaks - as Andrew suggested.

Hi Dan - nice scene and I like the comp. The rp takes it up a notch as I am sure the other suggestions above will do.
