Taken in Marco Island, FL a couple of months back. This was taken on a windy day near a nesting site. I made sure to stay far enough away as to not bother them (I was waist deep in the water about 20 feet away). Every now and then, a pair would take off and fly around. As they came back to land (against the wind and into the light), I had plenty of opportunities. This was one of the more dynamic banking shots.

I wish there was a bit of a catchlight in the eye to help separate it from the rest of the head.

Lovely flight pose, and love that it's calling too!!! It's an artistic flight pose and the whites are so well exposed and so nice against the soft blue.

Nice flight pose and the calling is a lovely addition, Miguel. Exposure looks good.

A dramatic looking mid air pose here
the open beak makes it interesting, very good exposure and lovely blue sky
love it

Hi Miguel, great in flight pose and eye contact, and well timed to get the open beak. Exposure spot on, and I feel you could add a touch of contrast to the Tern.

You caught a great pose.
I think you should add a a couple of points of black to the blacks in selective coloring in Photoshop.
The head is a bit washed out and this might also help put a bit of punch to the sky,
Gail
