Hey, I recognize this bird! ;) The image looks great and I wouldn't change a thing. It was a pleasure meeting you and look forward to future bird safaris in your neck of the woods! Best regards, ~Shawn

The colors of this one really go well together. The little splashes of green in the opposite corners and the orange-peach color on the chest and head blend well with the BG. Subject looks sharp too.

Swett portrait Adam. I may be tempted to get rid of the liitle grey thing......near the green...........but very nice color balance, comp, and exposure. Glad to see you all had a great time!

Hey Adam,

Lovely colors and use of fill flash. The trees in the front don't bother me at all, as it helps with the framing, but I'm having trouble with the noise dude!!

See my re-post with very little noise. Hope you like it!!

Very nice composition and image colors are great and exposure is dead on. Like the repost with less noise...:)

Hi Adams Sure was a treat at the Farm !!! Glad you didn't post a stork .... I don't think I want to see one for a long time !!!!

Love that soft yellow bg Excellent exposure and sharpness Would try cloning the grass merging with the bird !!! Didn't see the exp compensation? If you had to open up could account for the slight noise Your camera should produce very clean images at those settings !!!! I like it a lot !!!!

Adam,

Are you images well exposed?? or under exposed?? Remember noise is more visible in dark areas or well under exposed images.

Maxis,
All the images that show noise are well exposed.

Hard to imagine that a Mark III is producing visible noise at ISO 400 in a properly exposed image. I'd be interested in seeing the RAW file from this photo if you'd be willing to send it to me. I'll PM you my email address.

Wow. The noise did not show up on my older Apple laptop screen, but it sure does on my Eizo monitor! The re-do is amazing.

Weird that amount of noise on the MKIII.. Sweet comp on this guy, wonder if it was EMI from all all the equipment on the boardwalk ;)

BTW... I was like the tripod foot collector, I found 4 more besides yours !

Nice meeting you !
Lou
