Stuart you have some fine detail in the flower and buds. Normally I would have composed in portrait mode but I sense you went for this angle to shoe a little more of the flower? The background leaves me a little undecided, you have beautiful rich colours but there is enormous contrast with the flower, that coupled with the 45 degree composition leaves me a little unsettled from a visual point of view.
