(Couldn't get any closer, so no hope of using macro)

Lovely colours and composition,I suppos ethe leaf bottom right is slightly distracting but it does not spoil the image for me. The butterfly looks beautiful but the fine detail is not quite there. I wonder if perhaps the flower head was the focal point??

Mitch....nice composition and the bfly to me looks great but the flower pod looks too gray to me. I would add some white to it!

Hi Mitch. Nice comp, colors, and exposure and good use of the large "Macro" lens! Also nice DOF to get much of the flower sharp. To my eye, the body, legs, antennas, and hind wings of the butterfly look a bit oversharpened - this would be an easy fix to an already strong image! :S3:
