The image was obtained on the Gettysberg Battlefield near the Eternal Light Peace Memorial. I felt blessed to have the early AM fog. PP included Orton effect, and a touch of Nik CEP4 glamor glow. C & C appreciated.

Very peaceful as you intended. I am wondering if you would post the original too so that I can see what difference the Orton effect made. I'm still trying to conquor that technique.

Hazel, here is the original. I also slightly darkened the sky with a selective curves adjustment. Thanks for the look.

Hi, Gary, the Orton effect is subtle but very nice. I like the fact that you cropped from the bottom on the original. Nice work:S3:

thanks. what a difference! I'm going to work on my Orton more. Guess success also depends on having a great photo to start with, and you do. Good work. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. The deep saturated greens are perfect with the fog. Great composition with that very picturesque fence stretching thru the entire image and eventually fading into the distance and fog.

Nicely done Gary. Green is one color that looks great with deeper saturation as you have applied here. The fog really created a nice moody feel. Very nice leading lines as mentioned.

Beautiful rendering of a sad location.
