One of our most common forest raptors. Found this juvenile perched on a dry bamboo pole
during a boat ride in the backwaters of Kabini river in the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Karnataka, India.

Made with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500. Handheld from a drifting boat.
Exif : F6.3 / ISO 200 / SS 1/200 @ 500mm. Shot vertical / Aperture Priority / Eval
Crop / Levels / Curves / USM / NR on BG. Cloned out half a twig which was running across the tail.

Comments & critiques most welcome.

Well they may be common to you, but not to us here in the US. What a great looking bird. Nice pose and BG, although the BG needs a bit of NR. I would move the bird more to the bottom right of the frame.

Cool bird, nice pose, and techs look great!

Agree about moving bird to the right in the frame.
