My wife and I usually go to Carden Alvar to see some special birds, such as Upland Sandpiper which breeds there. Lovely shot of this Uppie, Karl. The singing, wings-up pose is wonderful, as is the layered BG. I know this species is noted for singing from fenceposts, but they're rarities around here and I've only seen one foraging in the grass. Congrats on a fine shot.
