Hi Ian, good exposure on the OC what looks like harsh light, and well timed to capture the raised foot. Good low angle, and I feel the image needs a CCW rotation.

Thanks for looking, Stuart. The OC is on the sloping bank of the edge of the road, so rotation is accurate, but I guess I could try a bit of rotation and see how it looks.

A bird walking away is generally not my favorite, but the raised leg and look back really help this image and add some life to it. Although I like the plants in the image, the clump of green on tip is a bit bothersome.

Magnificent image .I like the walking pose with nice head turn,raised foot and his shadow on the ground.
