Caught this as it finished it's bath and preen. I knew it would jump and do a wing stretch , so i just sat and waited it out. Lucky for me it was facing the right way.:t3

Wonderful! Love the bit of green in the FG and the soft touch of a reflection. Shallow DOF on the ground is very artistic, complementing the well-detailed subject.

You're really having fun with these guys. It helps to know their behavior, and it worked for you this time. In addition to the great pose, I love the touch of green and the soft reflection, and the smooth water with just the right hint of surf. Well done.

Good angle to show the bird along with the ocean in Bg, exposure seems perfect to have the amount color all round. The details on the bird makes this a good image.

Joe I really like the flat reflective ground he is landing on. You had a great low angle and got a nice pose as well.

Excellent moment capture,nice timing.
Love the wing position, tip Of foot just touching the sand, the way bird pops up against beautiful BG AND composition.

Regards,
Satish.

I love the diagonal from wing tip to wing tip, and the toe barely touching the ground makes for a delicate touch. The green vegetation is OK, but I would eliminate the samller one at left of the bunch (at bottom edge).
