The subtle bg colors are very nice, prey item, exposure, all good.

In a perfect world, would prefer the near wing not be end on to us, but there is a good display of the far wing.

I like the little punch of color from the yellow mandible tips.

Magnificent flight pose. Very nice colors,superb backdrop, fish is bonus,nice lights and composition.
Wish near wing was little bit down. Love the frame.

The superb BG really enhances the subject a great deal
i like the details on the tern and the catch is a big big plus

Hi Frank, we usually see images of these guys flying against either a sky, or water BG, so your unusual colours to your BG takes this up a few notches. Great view of his catch, overall well exposed, and agree a better near wing position would have been first prize.

The far wing is so good that it makes up for the near wing. Exposure is excellent, so is the prey, BG is killer.
