Hello, this Black-crowned Night Heron was nice enough to pose for the camera. The soft filtered sunlight was just right for capturing the nuances of this bird, which is one of my favorites.

Nice, consider a small crop from the bottom - the perch is a bit dominate. Thanks for sharing and remember we are going to Bosque this year!!!!

Thanks all! Jeff, let me know when you are going to be there. I usually go the week before Artie's group so I can touch bases with him on the weekend. I might stay longer this year since I'm retired. Woohoo!
