Extremely beautiful image of owl with wonderful composition.
Love the pose with stretched wings, fanned tail feathers, tilted legs and stare towards the perch ,sharp claws, beautiful colors and great details.
Inclusion of grass in the FG looks beautiful and has taken the image to the top of it's own class.

Regards,
Satish.

Very nice! I think the BG is OOF enough for me to give it a sense of place.....without being distracting. An excellent job as usual!

Arash, a stunning landing pose. Love the outstretched legs, something one doesn't get to see often with owls, wide wing spread and tail, beautiful perch and habitat. Well done.

Your post processing is exceptional. The detail that you tease out I find hard to replicate! I love the cool, cold light and soft pastel colors of all the images including the one above. Nicely timed above.

Hi Arash - this is really beautiful. I took a photo of a Barred Owl once this past winter on a really cold day. I like that photo because the photo looks just as cold as that day was. The colors and tone help to show the cold. This photo is like that, too. It helps you understand the environment this owl lives in, and how hard it must be in the winter, and why they have those long legs. Sometimes photos don't always tell you about the climate, but this one does.

I also really like how the cattails point up to your subject. I love all of your Great Gray Owl pictures!
