Always great to have the opportunity to photograph an american bittern and I really like the action you captured in this image Jimmy. Of course a little more head turn would have really put this over the top. Congratulations and many thanks for sharing.

Hi Jimmy, welcome to BPN! Very nice image to start off with. You captured quite a moment here, something that not many people will see let alone photograph. That being said, the image would be much more powerful if the bird was facing you more.
