Nicely done, sharp detail and nicely composed in the frame, very clear eye as well, love the little Grub in it's beak and micro water droplets on it's plumage. Shadow underwing is lacking detail somewhat but I dont you would be able to effectively improve that in PS, nonetheless this looks extra nice to me.

These are cool birds and this is a nice image of this one. The head looks soft to me, maybe from motion.

Magnificent image Phil. Very nice pose,colors,great feel of moving water and nice composition.
Agree about softness of head.One round of sharpening will fix the problem.
Love the frame.

Very cool bird, and I love the fact that you caught him in the rain, in the swirling water and with prey! Bird's head needs more sharpening.
