Hi Viv, you need to press the shutter before he's thinking of taking off, or else you dont achieve shots like this. :w3 Love the light in this, which in turn have brought out the colours very well. Good pp work to extend the canvas.

Nicely captured. Great colors and dynamic take-off pose.

I think the extension looks good, but there is an area that comes back into focus (just past the bill) before going back out of focus. I noticed it before I read about the extension, so I might say it needs some fixing.

Great eyes by Miguel. Assuming that he was right you added branch not just canvas. Repost rocks though the oof blobby area just below and in front of the bill looks a bit iffy....

Thanks Artie, I do agree repost looks better but not perfect. I will try again, hopefully will get better result the second time around. I did select both branch and BG in a previous image using Quick mask in PS. The bird was caught on the right hand side of frame unfortunately.

Magnificent take off pose you have captured, Vivaldo. Excellent lights,which has created nice shadows and light effect.Magical colors, beautiful HA composition.
