Lots of interest. Nice and sharp, I like how we see the tucked foot. Angle is a bit steep, (I'm sure that this was out of your control) and I think the comp could be strengthened by taking from the left and adding to the right to give the bird more room to gaze in to.

Grace has offered you some good suggestions that I agree with . Great looking subject with nice details...love the layers on the tail.

Beautiful subject, very sharp, agree with revised comp. Might want to clone out the nub of the perch underneath the main perch.

Thanks Grace, Dan and Lyle. There was large vertical tree trunk on the left of the bird, I had no option but to crop this way (this is almost full frame though) To avoid including the tree trunk I had to shoot vertical.

It's all been said and I agree, although myself I dont mind the slightly high angle of shot...with raptors i think it adds a better sense of dominance as fitting of a bird of prey. The detail is excellent and a nice minimilistic image, might clone out the small branch on the right though
