Not exactly a tutorial, this article from Strobist shows how this photographer setup his camera and flashes to capture a Blue Bird in flight.

6 flashes? Ouch. Defintely a tutorial on how not to use
flash for a Blue Bird. I think he needs to buy Art's ABP I and II.

All this in closest vicinity to an active nest with the parents already stressed out to get enough food to feed the chicks :eek3:
And reading some of the comments it seems copy cats are already charging up their batteries ........

Closest vicinity of an active nest with the parents already stressed out to get enough food to feed the chicks would surely be a nice option to go with. Specially the graphics and backgrounds of the photo does matter in the quality of work.
