I shot this a couple of weeks ago at South Padre Island, TX. right after the sun had come up. I wished for a bit more turn of the head, but alas, it didn't cooperate (it was actually watching me fairly closely). This is a slight crop trying to take it out of the center, but with the full wing spread, it was difficult to do. Any suggestions, tips, or comments are always appreciated! Techs: Nikon D7000/500mm f/4-P, 1.6x TC on a tripod/gimbal head @ 1/1000, f/5.6, ISO 800

Jeannean...this is probably one instance where it's ok to have the bird centered,
because of the wing span. I'd be more worried about placing the subject in the
back of the frame, which is what you did wonderfully here.
