Taken last Saturday morning. I had found shorebirds and was leaving the park when I saw this black duck sitting on a clumb of mud and grass in a still pond.

Allan, super nice reflection, there are a lot of noise as I could see at ISO320.
I would crop off a bit on the left side as well as top and bottom, give it more room on the right. Did you underexpose the shot?

You are right on the underexposed part. :(

Very nice high key image and design.
I think moving it to the left a bit would look nice.

I love the concept of the image, alot. The IQ has suffered from the initial underexposure, and I would fix the eye as well as perform some NR to the reflection's darker areas. Yes, more space in front would help with the comp. The high-key presentation is very nice as well as the duck's pose (pre-strecth?)

Thats a really nice reflection, and a fitting perch for a duck. The high- key b/g fits well here.

I'd like to see the version after NR and more room to the right.

I made the background a bit lighter. I took a bit off left, top, bottom, and extended the canvas on the right. I used noise reduction but masked out the head first. It is did not look good - so I left the noise there. Best I could do.
