I went out one early morning with Barney and the light was subdued I thought this would be ideal for white flowers, all comments welcome.

Very nice, Jonathan. Beautiful, sharp image with soft light; excellent composition. I like the way the drooping, developing bud balances the erect full blossom. The background is good, although if it were mine, I'd try to tint the orange patches shades of green to match the rest of the background. I also would crop off about half of the space above the top of the blossom.

But this is well done!

Hi Jon. I like the comp with the two main subjects roughly in the ROT postions! Also, nice even light, good detail in the whites, and excellent sharpness. Very nicely done!

I agree with both comments above. Lovely detail in this little flower. Nicely blurred bg. Well done.

At last I got round to identifying the flower, it is stitchwort.
