Another flower form Antelope Valley. It looks like a caterpillar to me. the oof flower at the LR corner either strengthens the base or distracts. I am still considering cloning it out. In the OTB, to be posted, it is fine.

When I looked at the thumbnail, the first thing to catch my eye was the beautiful background. Excellent job there. The unknown subject plays very nicely against that background. Regarding the oof flower in the lower right corner, I guess I would say clone it out but in reality it didn't bother me that much. My eye was taken in by the yellow flowers against the orange sky and they locked in there.

It's Fiddleneck, Steve. The poppies make for a nice BG. Nice composition. A bit of fill (flash or reflector) to the shadowed top of the flower would add to the image.

Agree with Alan. Nice comp, OOF poppies are nice, flash or a reflector would have been good.

lightening the top of the flower with curves and a mask would improve the image I think.

Another very nice composition Steve with excellent detail. I would like to see the extra stem/flower in bottom RH corner eliminated.
