before heading back to asia and Europe
this little one comes from N.Z and comes to Australia to breed

Nice low level perspective, the details are nice and exposure looks spot on
I am not sure but to the eye the image looks like it may need a slight rotation, to my taste i may take off a small portion from the top
this is clean image of this bird is what i like

Very nice Derek! Cute little fella. I've never seen one of these guys before. Excellent low angle. Nice creamy BG and like the DOF. Good and sharp with the 2.0x TC. Exposure looks pretty good, maybe one or two very small hot spots but nothing at all that I couldn't live with. Thanks for sharing!

Sweet little guy and I love your low shooting angle and great detail. I also see the need for a slight CW rotation and would prefer the bird a little more to the right

Thank you all
cheryl I could have done a cw but I thought I would lose to much on the bottom when I rotated it
i try to keep it off centre a bit have I moved it to much

I like the low angle and the exposure, the detail is very good indeed. In a perfect world we would see the feet but that does not spoil the image for me.

Lovely species and portrait of this cutie-pie. Love seeing new species to me. Agree on rotation (although I understand you don't have the room.) Would like more space left and bottom. Very nice details and like the inclusion of the environment.
