Running through some old images I decided to share this one I made in December 2011. Shooting from a blind setup along a woodline on my farm. I used audio to call this handsome Northern Cardinal in. I know the image has its faults. The biggest for me being the overexposure in the upper left corner but, this is just one of those I'm attached to. Thus my reason for sharing. Any and all feedback welcome!

Michel:
Magnificent image of handsome cardinal.Very nice colors, details and perch.Love the pose.
Wish OOF branch would not have in LRC. Bright corner is not a problem, can be addressed.
Very nice composition too.

Satish.

Beautiful image, nice environment.
Personally I would have removed half an inch from the top and added to the bottom to move the bird further from center.

That's a great perch with lots of character, and works well with the Cardinal. Nice photo from top to bottom.

Wonderful composition among the Pine foliage and do like that smooth brown backdrop.sweet subject and lovely detail in the plumage especially in the up swept feathers...yes to toning down the bright region just a little
