As I was laying in the water photographing willets 2 of these dowitchers landed near me. Here is one of them.

Nice image, the low level perspective here makes a great impact here to the image
i like the details and the lovely catchlight caught while preening
BG is good and the water is lovely, the centered composition works nicely here

very nicely captured. As mentioned above, the low angle really helps this one. I usually have a hard time with compositions where the bird's body is facing one way but the head is facing the other. I think the center crop works well here, but I would have looked at the option of having less on the right and more on the left. You may have done that already.
