A B&W of my previous image posted "Battle of the Beasts"

Would love your feed back on the B&W and which you prefer.

Hi Brendon - I much prefer the color version. For me, the b&w just doesn't have the same impact and I think the somewhat harsher light is much more apparent in the b&w.

I prefer the colour version at this stage. What would help the B&W is if the structure of the grass was less apparent.
I achieve this by dragging the clarity slider way down, but then painting some clarity back in on the subjects...

Hi Brendon, well I think the OP for me. What I thought was based on the image content & location, perhaps the look & feel should perhaps be in keeping with his words of 'Relentless Enemies' and the 'style' of imagery depicting this location.

Not saying this is right Brendon and for me a little 'pixel bashed' sadly, but perhaps an alternative twist?

Still envious of the sighting & good luck.

I also prefer the color version. I think it has more impact.

Hi Brendon,

The color version does it for me as well.
It might would bring it out more, when you apply a vignette and turn down a bit the grass, as Morkel suggested

Ciao

Surely like the colour version Brendon, but must say the Steve's conversion takes it up a notch with lovely tones... Just my 2c worth! :w3
