Love the image design, perfect timing, and EXP. From where I sit it needed a bit more sharpening. For the repost I sharpened the bird only at 140/.3/0 (Unsharp Mask). It looks good which would seem to mean that it was not sharpened at all as those numbers represent my usual 1024 wide JPEG sharpening....

ps: plus a tad of Eye Doctor work on the pupil only.

What a terrific capture, Karl, and NOT an easy behavior to capture. I have tried and failed many times. The RP works even better.

Great timing catching this. I always seem to get just the rear end. Agree the sharpening kicks it up a little.

Great timing Karl. Not that easy to get this shot. Love that we can see the red eye and the sharpening helped. I have tried to get this shot with many species and havent gotten one this good yet. Well done

Added sharpness is an improvement.

Perfect timing and Artie's repost is a great improvement on an already awesome image. The sharpening was much needed and brought this great image to life.
