what to do regarding persistent oil leak on sensor despite cleaning nikon recognizing this?

Not much as far as I can see Stuart short of cleaning the sensor yourself. There are super cleaning products out there (Visible Dust) and I would never pay someone to do it. On the other hand if the camera was continually fouling the sensor with oil I would replace the camera with another model or another brand.

Apparently the issue resolves itself around 3,000 shots. Until then, I'd clean as necessary.
