Buffs of Mana

Few things beat exploring the forests of Mana Pools on foot. This photo was taken at close range on a walking safari.

Hi Morkel - nice wide view. A little surprised that you went with 5.6 for such a wide and deep scene here. Was it just a matter of insufficient light to comfortably shoot stopped down a bit more? Overall, I like the comp with the tall trees in the bg filling the frame and the one buff facing you just off center. It seems to have a slight cyan cast to me and to be a bit flatter than your usual posts.

I love the light you have got in this image. To bad that quite a few of them turned their head to the BG or looked away! Well, we cannot have everything :bg3:
