Went out today for a 1:1 tuition workshop on Flamingo's with one of my regular clients and this was one of my favorite shots from the series we got today.
All i had to do was play some soft music and....voila....:w3:bg3:

greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Very lovely image.
Love the blues in the water and the interaction as well.
The flared tail feathers are stunning.

yes, the feather flare and the water splash of the foot add so much. Excellent

Nice image all the way around, but what struck me most is how awesome it must have been to witness that interaction.

Love it. The wing spread is so beautiful and I really like the splash of water created by the other bird I assume. Those tail feathers are great too

Beautiful for all the reasons noted above. I might be tempted to darken the pupil of the bird on our right.... It is so hard to get the pupils sharp with flamingos.....

Immaculate Jeroen. The pose and juxtaposition are perfect, and to get two great head angles is impossible, but you did it!

Those design of the feathers created by the rear flamingo are just out of this world. Terrific interaction captured.

The decisive moment, beautifully captured and processed. It has a real emotional quality. Congrats!

very nice Jeroen, the interaction is great! It seems that you did not convert to sRGB before posting, the colors look a bit oversat as posted but if you open in Photoshop the colors show correctly. It's best to convert ti sRGB for internet posting, also you can post a bit larger and get rid of the frame so we can see the details better,

great work. TFS

Hey Jeroen, great to see you posting here again, very pleased you posted this one, and bigger too. Although viewing on the laptop which is not ideal, still wonder if the dark wing feathers need just a fraction lifting to bring a hint more detail & definition????

Soft music, candles, petals on the water, you certainly know how to attract the birds. :bg3:
