Wow, what a mouth full. And you got eye contact from both bird and fish!

Very nice Robert Like the soft light the best Very difficult making those birds look good and he is gorgeous Looks like he got an oscar? Golden reflections sure enhance the water Was this on the back by the gazebo afternoon?

Liked very much !!! Would only suggest a bit more room !!!

Man what a mouthful! Nice catch, good details as well...a little more room would be nice if you have it.

Looking forward to being there in February myself!! Thanks for posting it!

Very nice eye contact. Maybe the fish was waiting for you to intervene? :D

Perhaps a slightly lower angle would have made this image a killer.

Never seen anything like this--great capture of the moment. Eye contact with the fish! Wow!
You were the last thing it saw.

Al,

I got this shot right at the beginning of the trail (in the big pond behind the gift shop). It was taken back in the spring, and every time I look at it, it makes me want to come back there, for it is an amazing place to spend the day.

Very nice light, and I like the head angles of both the bird and the fish. Neat the way the fish tail is fanned, and I the slight shadow from the fish's tail makes the fish eye stand out even more.

Great image. I like seeing both eyes in this image...that of the bird and of the fish. Great warm light.

The eye of the fish says it all !!! There is a definite sense of hopelessness.
