Tiffen Lens Cleaning Tissue

Is someone uses these tissues (mostly they come in a box of 50) for cleaning the coated lenses or other ?? And is it safe to use them ?

I've used them since the Kodak brand is no longer available. (I also heard the Tiffen sourced them for Kodak).
With one-tisssue-one-use, there is no danger of dirt coming from the cleaner, such as might be the case with an old microfiber cloth.
