Drama in the skies! Well done as always, Jim. Only thing that I see is a bit of blue in the whites of the one carrying the fish.

BBC stuff. Which 600? Great job on the sharpness and exposure. How big a crop?

Wow thats quite a catch, pun intended. Both birds so sharp, great action and composition as well. I also do see the blue tint on the osprey with the fish.

Thanks, Artie. It was the new 600mm IS II. About 50% crop.

Fabulous poses on both birds. Love the open beaks on both (only wish the upper bird's beak didn't overlap the leg, but that's a tiny nit). Great view of the fish adds to it, and the talons of the upper bird in attack mode. Good stuff.

Terrific comp, really love the poses on both birds, and excellent timing.
Agree on the blue cast.
Well done.

Wow, very cool capture. The pose of the upper bird is awesome with the screaming open beak, fully extended legs and talons . Both birds look sharp and well exposed and the overall scene is very captivating. Nice work.

excellent interaction here, both sharp. I would go for a square crop since the BG is high key.

Great moment captured, Jim. Agree on the very slight blue cast, but to my eye I would retain the horizontal (not go to a square) frame, as it adds to the dynamism. Considering the white sky BG, great job on the exposure. Very well done overall. A stunning image.

Great action you captured here, Jim. Good eye by Grace. Good idea by Arash on the square crop. I think it would give more prominence to your subjects/action in this case.

Amazing drama captured, Jim. The poses, expressions and the fish takes this over the top.
