This pair of sandwich terns were on the beach at Ft. Desota. They remind me of a pair of bookends. Cloned out part of an OOF tern in the BG, cleaned up the sand a bit, darkened the eyes, Color Efex Tonal Contrast at 50%, and Detail Extractor at 15%. C & C appreciated.

Mike:

Excellent low shooting angle, exposure, comp.

Wish the front birds head was our way a sliver, and you had a little more dof for the rear bird.

Quite eye catching!

Cheers

Well done, both birds are sharp enough and the way that they are looking in opposite directions makes this special. The overall color of this image is great.

Marvelous composition Mike, very appealing.....first thought that came to my mind was the odd creature from Dr Dolittle, the " Push Me Pull You "

Liking also the catch light you have managed to get in both birds eyes

Very nice shot Mike, Great opposing poses and both look sharp and well exposed. I think if the one in the front had a better HA, its head might have slipped out of the DOF so I think it worked out well. Great job..
