Nice take off pose, Rudy.Nice background. I wish the beak wasn't merged with the wing but it is minor.

Super take off pose. Great wing extension, tail up and nice BG. Agree it would be even better if the beak didn't merge.

Nice take-off capture. If they're like our kingfishers, when they decide to take off, they're gone in an instant; usually before my trigger finger gets the message. Bill merge noted. Lovely BG.

Good take off pose, perch, BG. The eye looks a bit funky, a bit of work on it would improve the image.

Hi Rudi, these shots are all about timing as you know, and you pretty much nailed that. Mankwe BG's always rock. :w3

Nice clean background and good lighting on this Kingfisher Rudi. Really nice to get it in flight.

Well caught, good exposure, a very difficult shot to get, I am looking at the dark plumage and sense a little noise or perhaps it was a fairly large crop??
