Vikram, What a beautiful bird. I do not recall ever seeing this one before. The green color of the background is beautiful also. I don't care for the out of focus perch, so I would crop in tighter from the top, left, and right to put more attention on the bird. You were shooting at such a slow shutter speed, and did end up with a nice sharp image, but I'd bump up the ISO to give yourself more lee way.

Thanks for sharing this!

Great species & sharpness. I would prefer a tighter crop to reduce the perch size in the frame.

Vikram,

A very impressive capture at only 1/60"! If you had the chance, it would have been nice to move your position to the left, allowing you to see more of the bird and less of the perch. As it stands, I agree with the above - remove a bit from the right.

Don't think I've ever seen this bird posted here before. What an interesting looking bird. You have very nice details and sharpness in your bird. The angle of the bird works well and you have a lovely BG. I agree on the out of focus (OOF) rock being a big strong in this image and a tighter crop would definitely make this an even stronger image.

A very interesting looking bird, the oof fg distracts. The bird is nice and sharp. I hope you can give us some different views of this bird in the future.

Thanks everyone for the appreciation. Agree with the views about the OOF tree trunk.
