A little bit of nirvana here we had light today! I debated over removing the perch which is by the tail I decided to leave it otherwise the perch would have looked chopped off and the image too contrived - what do you think?? There is something in it's bill, it had been eating seeds.

All comments welcome.

Amazing details, Jon. I like the look back pose, the sweet bg and the lichen covered perch. I too debated about the end of the perch and then read your note. It certainly doesn't hurt the image, but I wouldn't miss it either.

Excellent dof on the bird, very sharp. Love the perch and the smooth bg.

Great work to make this Sparrow look special. I would lose the little stick to the right side of the tail and (perhaps?) crop in a bit from the left. BG is lovely!

Jonathan:
Absolutely superb image with lovely composition.Great pose with open beak, sharpness, beautiful colors, perch and BG.
Perch near the tail is of the same color of sparrow, not at all distracting ,either way frame will look wonderful.

Satish.
